You can access the Complaints page to add or modify a complaint.
To access the Complaints page:
If the Administrator Home page isn't already displayed, click the my admin homepage link near the top of the current page.
The Administrator Home page is displayed.
In the Complaints section, perform one of the following:
The Complaints page is displayed.
Note: Required fields are indicated by an asterisk * to the right of the label and must be completed. |
Type the complaint filing date in the sos filing date field.
Type the administrative law judge filing date in the alj filing date field.
Type the complaint case number in the case number field.
Select the category to assign to the case from the category drop-down list box.
Perform one of the following:

Type the subject of the complaint in the subject field.
In the Complainants data grid, perform the following:

Click the delete link for the complainant you want to remove.
The complainant is removed from the data grid. |
In the Respondents data grid, perform the following:

Click the delete link for the respondent you want to remove.
The respondent is removed from the data grid. |
To search for a Committee or Candidate to assign as a complainant or respondent, perform the following:
Enter search criteria into one or more fields and click the Search button.

Assign the Committee/Candidate as the complainant... |
Click the Complainant link in the Add to List column of the data grid. |
Assign the Committee/Candidate as the respondent... |
Click the respondent link in the Add to List column of the data grid. |
In the Disposition section, perform the following:
Type the date the disposition was updated in the disposition date field.
Type the date the administrative law judge made a decision regarding the complaint in the alj decision date field.
Type the decision that was made regarding the complaint in the disposition field.
Type the rule that was cited regarding the complaint in the rule citation field.
Type the statute that was cited regarding the complaint in the statute citation field.
Type any cases being referenced in the referenced cases field.
In the Issues section, select the check box for each issues that applies to the complaint.
To associate a file to the complaint, perform the following:
Type the name of the file you are associating in the file name field.
Type the date the file was received in the date received field.
Perform one of the following:

Make the file unavailable for public viewing... |
Select the private check box. |
Make the file available for public viewing... |
Clear the private check box. |
The Choose File to Upload dialog box is displayed.
Navigate to the folder where the file you want to import is located.
Click the file you want to upload to select it.
Click the open button.
The system closes the Choose File to Upload dialog box and displays the specified path and file name.
The system uploads the file and displays it in the Attached Files data grid.
Perform the following as desired:

The File Download dialog is displayed.
The file is displayed in a separate window.

The Scan Documents page is displayed.

Remove the uploaded file from the system... |
Click the delete link for the file you want to remove.
The specified file is removed. |

Click the delete complaint button.
A confirmation dialog box is displayed.
Click the ok button. To close the dialog box without deleting the complaint, click the cancel button.
A message is displayed indicating the complaint was successfully removed.
Click the return button to return to the Administrator Home page.
