Filing an Independent Expenditure Donor Report

Then...

File a report...

Click the add link to the left of Independent Expenditure Donor Report for Non-Registered Users.

Amend a report...

1. Click the search link to the left of Public Filings.

The Search Public Filings page is displayed.

2. Perform the steps for Searching for a Public Filing.

If...

Then...

The Donor is an individual...

1. Type the Donor's first name in the first name field.

2. Type the Donor's middle name in the middle name field.

3. Type the Donor's last name in the last name field.

4. Type the Donor's name suffix, if applicable, in the suffix field.

The Donor is an organization...

Type the name of the organization in the organization name field.

If...

Then...

You know the Recipient's name...

1. Type the name of the Recipient in the recipient name field.

2. Click the add donations to list button.

The donation is added to the Donations Included in The Report data grid. To remove a donation, click the remove link for the donation you want to remove.

You want to search for the Recipient...

1. Type part or all of the Recipient's name in the recipient name field.

2. Click the search registered committees button.

The search results are displayed in the Search Results data grid. If the search results exceed the page's display limit, you can click a page number at the bottom of the grid to view additional results.

To change the number of records that display per page, select a value from the page size drop-down. If the Recipient is not found, the system displays an error message. Click the clear selection button to clear the search criteria and perform another search.

3. Click the select link for the Recipient of the donation.

4. Click the add donations to list button.

The donation is added to the Donations Included in The Report data grid. To remove a donation, click the remove link for the donation you want to remove.

View the report...

1. Click the view report button. Acrobat Reader must be installed on your computer to view reports. If Acrobat Reader is not installed on your machine, click the acrobat reader button at the bottom of the application page to go to the Adobe site to download the reader.

The report is displayed on your screen.

2. When finished viewing the report, click the x in the upper right corner of the window.
