Viewing Contribution/Donation History

You can access the Contribution/Donation Administration page to view contribution/donation history and access pages to add, modify, and search for a contribution/donation or modify a Contributor/Donor. No contribution/donation information is viewable by the public or another Candidate or Committee until a report is filed. The CDOS is allowed to enter contributions/donations on behalf of a Candidate or Committee if the Candidate or Committee is not entering its own contributions/donations, or if the Candidate or Committee grants access to the CDOS to enter contributions/donations on its behalf.

Note:

In the Contribution/Donation History section, the 10 most recent contributions/donations you entered are displayed. You must perform a search to find other contributions/donations not in the 10 most recent list.
Required fields are indicated by an asterisk * to the right of the label and must be completed.

In the Contribution/Donation History section, perform one of the following:

To...	Then...
Add a contribution/donation...	Click the add button. The Contribution/Donation Entry page is displayed. Perform the steps for Adding/Updating a Contribution/Donation.
Find a contribution/donation that isn't displayed in the 10 most recent list...	Click the find button. Perform the steps for Searching for a Contribution/Donation.
Modify a contribution/donation that is displayed in the 10 most recent list...	Click the update link in the data grid for the contribution/donation you want to modify. The Contribution/Donation Update page is displayed. Perform the steps for Adding/Updating a Contribution/Donation.
Delete a contribution/donation that is displayed in the 10 most recent list...	Click the delete link in the data grid for the contribution/donation you want to remove. A message is displayed asking if you want to delete the contribution/donation. Click the yes button. The contribution/donation is removed. If the contribution/donation has been filed, an offset record is added for the next filing.
Return a contribution/donation that is displayed in the 10 most recent list...	Click the return link in the data grid for the contribution/donation you want to modify. The Contribution Return/NSF page is displayed. Perform the steps for Returning a Contribution/Donation or Marking it NSF.
Mark a contribution/donation that is displayed in the 10 most recent list as being returned for insufficient funds...	Click the nsf link in the data grid for the contribution/donation you want to modify. The Contribution Return/NSF page is displayed. Perform the steps for Returning a Contribution/Donation or Marking it NSF.

Contributor/Donor information is stored in the system for you to use in the future.

In the Contributor/Donor Maintenance section, perform the following to modify a Contributor/Donor:

Update a Contributor/Donor...	Click the update a contributor/donor link. The Contributor/Donor/Payee Update page is displayed. Perform the steps for Updating a Contributor/Donor or Payee.
View and merge duplicate Contributors/Donors...	Click the view and merge duplicate contributors/donors link. The Contributor/Donor/Payee Duplicates page is displayed. Perform the steps for Merging Duplicate Contributor/Donor or Payee Records.
Find duplicate Contributors/Donors...	Click the find duplicate contributors/donors link. The Duplicate Contributions/Donations page is displayed. Perform the steps for Searching for Duplicate Contributions/Donations.
